Our Shared Values for Moms, Kids, Staff, & Volunteers

No organization thrives unless a set of core values is in place. This is imperative on great days, on hard days, on days where there seems to be only chaos as well as days where everybody is hitting on all cylinders.

Here are some values that keep us going:

  • We dream of a day when every infant will be born healthy.

  • We believe that mothers and children should be together when safety and support are in place. If that’s not possible for a period of time, we support foster placements in either the extended family or the community.

  • We believe every child deserves to have a family that is free from substance abuse and any other abuse.

  • We believe every person is a beloved child of God and should be treated as such.

  • We believe that no person or situation is irredeemable.

  • We believe in second (third and fourth) chances.

  • We believe relationships in community are the strongest force there is.

  • We believe love wins.
