How We Help Moms!

Susannah's House is an Intensive Outpatient Recovery Program for mothers in recovery. We exist to serve the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of mothers and their children. Our mission is to provide a source of help and hope in a therapeutic, faith-based community for women and their children to break adverse cycles and rebuild their families…

…We provide a nurturing and therapeutic environment for individuals and families to achieve sobriety, enhance mother and child relationships, and build better life skills while promoting spiritual growth…

Our Mission

…We believe destructive cycles can be broken and want to serve women who have the desire and commitment to change. Our program is a holistic set of modules for mothers determined to recover from opioid addiction and establish a safe and supportive family system. Susannah’s House is staffed with professionals in recovery and social services fields and is supported by volunteers from the Knoxville community.

A Mission to Provide Hope!

At Susannah’s House we know that you want to be a difference maker in our community. In order to do that, you need a partner that is committed to helping restore families battling dependency on opioids. The problem is moms and their babies are becoming dependent on opioids which makes you feel sad and frustrated. We believe every family deserves a second chance!

We understand the sadness watching families being torn apart by opioid dependency which is why we have been helping moms for over 8 years find recovery and freedom.

Here’s how you can make a difference:

  1. Click the button “I Want to Give.”

  2. Prayerfully consider how you can help financially and physically.

  3. Then let us know how you can make a difference by submitting your donation or serving form.

So, click the “I Want to Give” button to start making a difference today. And in the meantime, schedule a time to come by our house for a tour. So you can stop watching women die and their kids continue the cycle of addiction and instead help moms get sober, help families be restored, and help children get a healthy start.

Meet our team.

The staff members at Susannah’s House are educated, licensed, and trained to work with mothers in recovery as well as their children (ages 6 weeks to 5 years). There are volunteers and interns at Susannah’s House as well who are trained to lead groups, be mentors to the mothers, and provide support services to the staff members.
